Changes or Cancellations:
If you would like to make changes or additions to your order, please call Star Powersports right away, at 651-462-2588. Unfortunately, not all orders can be canceled or changed once they are entered into our processing system. This takes place within 2 hours of order placement. Our system automatically routes orders to our manufacturers / suppliers to be shipped immediately. Once they have received the orders, they cannot be canceled.
When Your Order Arrives:
If the package arrived damaged, it is your responsibility to contact the carrier and allow them to inspect the package to affirm replacement or refund. You must save all packaging until this step is resolved. If the package is OK, then please inspect the contents for accuracy and condition. Any claim for incorrect, missing or damaged items must be reported to Star Powersports
within 2 business days of receipt, as indicated by the shipping company's tracking information.
  • RETURNS and EXCHANGES:
    Your satisfaction is very important to us! You may return, or exchange most new and unopened items within 10 days of delivery to you, as indicated by the shipping company's tracking information. You should e-mail our Customer Service Department at help@starpowersports.com within 2 business days of receipt. You may also reach Customer Service by telephone at 651-462-2588. They are open 9:00AM to 6:00PM (CST), Monday through Friday. Customer Service will issue you a Return Authorization Number [RA#] that must be placed on the shipping label. Items that have been installed cannot be returned. Original shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Please see additional important information below.

  • EXCHANGES of APPAREL or HELMETS due to INCORRECT SIZING:
    Because we want you to be happy, we will exchange helmets and apparel that do not fit correctly, and there are no handling or restocking charges! You must order the same exact item in a different size. The product must have all the manufacturer's tags intact and the packaging must be in new condition. Customer pays shipping.

  • WARRANTY EXCHANGES:
    All warranty claims are processed by the manufacturer and subject to their policies. Warranty items should be returned directly to the manufacturer, unless advised differently by a Star Powersports customer service representative. Exhaust systems should be carefully inspected for any defects or damage before installation on the machine. If any are found, contact us immediately. After the exhaust has been installed, it is not returnable. Please see our Warranty Statement for further details.

  • RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM:
    We ship thousand of items and it's possible that we may make a mistake. If we accidentally sent the wrong item, we will pay to ship the correct item to you and reimburse you for shipping the incorrect item back to us. You pay nothing!

  • ALL OTHER RETURNS:
    If you would like to return an item that you changed your mind about, ordered wrong or for any other reason, (other than defects or wrong size) it is subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. This is not our fee! We sell over 300,000 different items and we stock many of the most popular items in our own warehouse, but when a customer orders a product that is not in our warehouse it is a "special order" item. When we return a "special order" item to our supplier, they charge us a 20% re-stocking fee (plus the original shipping cost to send the item to us and the shipping cost to return the item to the our supplier). In the interest of customer satisfaction, we will pay for both of these shipping costs, but we must pass on the 20% re-stocking fee. *Some "special order" merchandise, such as, engines, frames, kit bikes, custom-made items, etc., cannot be returned. Star Powersports is unable to accept returned items that were opened, used, damaged and/or missing the serial number and/or UPC code from the item or the package; or returned past 10 days of delivery to you (as indicated by the shipping company's tracking system). Items must be in the original, unmarked packaging and be in new, sale-able condition.

  • CLOSE-OUT or AUCTION MERCHANDISE:
    These items are offered to our customers at extremely low prices, therefore, no refunds can be given on close-out or auction merchandise.

  • ELECTRICAL ITEMS:
    We cannot accept returns on electrical parts. They must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. This is the best way to ensure that you get the most direct and fastest service for these items. Certain NEW aftermarket electrical accessories may be accepted. E-mail us regarding these.

  • HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM:
    All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt that came with the order, and a Return Authorization number [RA#]. Items returned without authorization will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. Contact our Customer Service Department (24 hours a day) by e-mail to receive your Return Authorization Number; or call them Monday through Friday, between the hours 9:00AM to 6:00PM (CST) at 651-462-2588. Please have the order number, part number (of the item to be returned) and the reason for return ready for prompt assistance. They will issue the RA# and it must be written on the shipping label of the box. On the receipt, circle the item that is being returned and note the reason for the return.

    The item(s) must be returned within 10 days of delivery to you (as indicated by the shipping company's tracking system). Refunds and /or credits will NOT be issued if you do not follow this procedure.
  • PACKAGING YOUR RETURN ITEM:
    All items must be in the original manufacturer's package and in new, re-saleable condition with all labels and tags intact. There cannot be any writing, markings, tears, etc., (on the item or the package) or it is not sale-able. Place the manufacturer's package inside another box with appropriate packing materials. Star Powersports uses plenty of packing material when we ship the items, so if you please use the outside box and its packing materials that we sent, then the item(s) should arrive in good condition. Parts that are scratched or damaged in return shipping, due to inadequate packaging, will not be eligible for normal credit. Do not ship the item in the manufacturer's packaging only or it will be refused by our Receiving Department. Enclose a copy of the original receipt (that came with your order) with the returned item circled. Write the RA# clearly on the outside of the box on or next to the shipping label. Returns received without RA# clearly written on the outside of the package cannot be accepted by our Receiving Department.

  • SHIPPING YOUR RETURN ITEM:
    Send the package back to us prepaid. We do NOT accept any COD returns. We strongly recommend you obtain a tracking number from the shipping carrier and we also suggest that you insure the package in case it should get lost or damaged in shipping. UPS automatically gives $100 value of insurance at no cost to you, but you must request the insurance coverage and they also include a tracking number. The United States Postal Service (USPS) will charge for these items. Send all returns to:
